Metropolitan Family Services Work + Service Forum
Life by Design NW participated in a forum addressing issues surrounding work and service that people over 50 face. Along with with other nonprofits, businesses, elected officials and individuals, they discussed what's been done and what's possible.

Volunteer Expo
Life by Design NW joined other nonprofit organizations in Portland, Oregon on September 11 for a national day of service. The Standard, a financial services company headquartered in downtown Portland, gathered city officials and nonprofits to enable Portlanders to volunteer through their organizations.
